Washing your fruits and vegetables is so important. I think we all know that. However, deep down, I’ve always known that a quick rinse of your produce doesn’t necessarily mean its clean of pesticides and other contaminates. But it wasn’t until this Covid situation that I REALLY made sure my vegetables were washed properly. When I saw Arm & Hammer has a specific wash for fruits and veggies I knew I had to give it a try. Especially after seeing that it’s free of harsh chemicals, gluten free and vegan. Their products have never disappointed me in the past and I knew that a little extra attention wouldn’t hurt.
A plethora of fruit and vegetables are consumed in our house daily and this makes it so simple to assure us that we aren’t consuming the bad stuff. Just spray, gently rub the produce to remove soil and wax. That’s it! You can let it stand for about 15 minutes to throughly remove surface pesticides before rinsing. It safely eliminates over 90% of pesticide residue.

It was amazing to see the gunk that comes off of your produce after using this. Alarming at the same time. This is totally worth the minimal effort to rid your food of toxic pesticides and contaminants.
