Whole 30 Hamburger Bowl

This recipe will take any of your hamburger cravings away in a snap-even without the bread. The other bonus is that the kids won’t roll their eyes when you tell them it’s Whole 30 compliant because they too, love it that much.

There are a ton of ingredients but I will say most of them you probably already have in your refrigerator.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb organic hamburger
  • 10 pieces of bacon
  •  1 bag of shredded lettuce
  • Half red onion (chopped)
  • Pickles
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (or less if you’re not a fan of heat)

Brown hamburger adding salt, pepper and garlic powder. Once hamburger is cooked add 2 tbsp of coconut aminos. Add pepper flakes. Let simmer on low. In the meantime prepare bacon.

Layer hamburger, top with shredded lettuce, chopped onion, tomatoes and pickles. After crumbling the bacon add to the top of the bowl.

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup of mayo (whole 30 compliant) Sir Kensington
  • 2 tbsp of whole 30 compliant Sir Kensington ketchup
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp of organic relish
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. optional red pepper flakes

Whisk all of the above ingredients. Then add the sauce to the hamburger bowl.
