Two Rooms with Studio McGee

Are you as obsessed with the Studio McGee collection at Target as I am? I know there are some serious fans out there because her pieces do not last long in the store or online. Here were a few of my favorites. Some include pieces from her first launch.

I’ve been so obsessed with the light shades of white and creams. In a house with pets and kids I just need to appreciate it from afar. Perhaps an Empty Nester could pull this look off. However, it’s a lot more doable in an entryway space.  As long as your drop zone is at another entrance. Like say the garage. Let’s be real.

Entryway

Everyone loves to walk into a house to be greeted by a beautiful entryway! Especially in light natural hues. It feels crisp, clean and inviting.

  • This landscape frame artwork is so calm and serene for a room. It’s also inexpensive at just $40! Although it is on the smaller size but you could easily work it in above the table that we’ve added to this set by framing it with a lamp and large vase.
  • This clean metal task lamp offers a very polished look for a table or desk. The white really brightens a room.
  • There’s that Copperton wood base table we’re loving. It’s not bulky and it has a simple design yet still makes a statement.
  • Everyone should have a simple vase like this one.
  • The ladder back wood arm chair  offers a polished look to your entry way.
  • The global inspired tribal rug with a geometric patterns and natural hues will add dimension and interest to this look.

Living Room

Let’s turn the focus to your living room. While light colors are fresh and airy. This offers a more forgivable and livable space. A living room should require those two things.

  • As a lover of the sky this art work really speaks to me. I LOVE this art piece.
  • A simple and subtle ceramic table lamp
  • The gray chair is a great addition to a living room space and better choice for a house full of kids and animals I might add. This would be a great conversation set with a neutral sofa and two gray chairs
  • A ceramic bowl is a nice addition to either a book shelf or you could add to your coffee table
  • The box everyone has had in their carts but it keeps selling out. Another bookshelf addition or side/ coffee table.
  • Anyone else have trouble keeping the real house plants alive? These faux plants are a beautiful choice to add some green to the room.
  • Obsessed with this coffee table and if you caught our Save or Splurge a few weeks ago you might have noticed it is very similar to the Serena Lily coffee table for a fraction of the price.
  • Some woven textured throw pillows to throw on that neutral sofa to pull from the gray in those accent chairs.
  • Everyone needs a log carrier….I personally use it as a magazine basket.

How do you feel about Studio McGee. Love it more than Hearth and Hand? I would say it’s a pretty close tie for me. Check out our last Studio McGee loves here.
