It’s time to get healthy again! This Covid business has really got me in a funk. I’m certain I’m not alone. I found myself eating cereal with the kids every morning. Don’t get me wrong, cereal is fine in small doses but what is it about going back for seconds and thirds. It’s like I’m 12 year old sitting in front of the TV watching Scooby Doo. Ahem…latchkey kid.

Now I’m in recovery mode. Smoothies are the one sure way I start my day off right. This one is quick and easy and packed with protein to get you moving. It’s a great way to get into a healthy morning routine.

I had been feeling very sluggish with my normal smoothie so I decided to add a little more protein to the mix with Tone it Up and Vital Proteins Collagen peptides. It really made a difference in my overall energy.

Ingredients

  • One handful of spinach
  • 1 banana (frozen is best)
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1 scoop of Tone it Up Protein powder
  • 1 scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen peptides
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds
