Are you ready to pack for spring break 2021? Let’s flashback to spring break 2020. This is a year I will not forget. My husband, son, and I had plans to go to Mexico (flying out of Canada) and literally the day before we were supposed to go, coronavirus starting rearing its ugly head.
My daughter was in Florida with a friend. Not knowing really what was going on or what could potentially happen, we switched our vacation and went to Florida. Could we fly home? Would we have to drive? We weren’t sure at this point. Little did we know, a year later, we would practically be in the same boat.
After three days and decided to come home before it got any worse. I called my travel agent to book us home and she said I’m sorry, I don’t know how I’m going to get you home! I was freaking out a little. She forgot we switched our trip to Florida from Mexico. By this time Canada had closed its border, so there was no flying back into Canada. Whew! I also broke my foot the second day into the trip, but that’s a whole different story. Like I said, this was a trip I will not forget.

All that aside, it’s time to try this again. With a little more experience under our belt and knowing how we can safely travel, it’s time for us to make some plans to get out of the below zero weather and into some sunshine. We are lacking some major vitamin D!
