Indoor and Outdoor Rugs

One thing I discovered while I was putting this post together is that not only do I have a bed sheet and pillow fetish, I guess I can also include indoor and outdoor rugs to that category.

I didn’t realize how many rugs I owned until now. I LOVE shopping for rugs, however, it can be a tricky process to get all the elements to match. Plain or pattern? Shag or jute? Round or rectangle? There are many things to consider including getting the sizing correct. Maybe that’s why I have so many rugs because I usually don’t get it the exact way I want it or maybe I just change my decor around too quickly.

You don’t have to spend a ton on rugs. In fact, a lot of my rugs come from Target. Remember years ago (and probably still to this day) when people would spend thousands on a rug? I think I’m going to have to pass on that. I change them out too quickly to invest a mint.

This is my kitchen runner and I love it! I also have been eyeing this one.

My outdoor table sits on this neutral beige rug and my sofa set sits on top this navy one. As far as doormats go, I put this geometric rug down first and my hello doormat on top. If you live in a rainy area or if you know it’s going to rain, you’ll want to pull the geometric rug in since it’s not an outdoor rug. You can also pair a plaid one underneath.

We live on a farm, so we bring in a lot of dirt. I need a good sturdy rug in my entryway and this one has been great for us. You don’t see any of the dirt and it’s so easy to keep clean. I just give it a good vacuum job and it’s good to go.

Now is a great time to change out your indoor and outdoor rugs because most of these rugs are on sale. Check out some of our favorite bedroom decor to go along with your new rug.

Hurry and get in on the Serena and Lily sale! Use the code: WAVES for additional savings.

This is a great summer blues (in a good way) look for your summer porch or outdoor patio! Granted the items are a splurge but they are built to last.
