Hershey’s Brownies

Overall we keep it pretty healthy in our home. In fact I purposely never really learned how to bake because I know myself and I know that if I developed this skill, I’d be baking all of the time. I don’t even have a bag of sugar in my house- I bake that much. This little recipe here I did learn how to make. It’s a family favorite handed down from my sweet aunt. I wish I could say I was one of those moms who bakes Christmas cookies with their children every December but I’m just not. That’s what grandmas are for.

Ingredients

HERSHEY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1-16 oz can Hershey’s chocolate syrup
1 cup and 1 tbs. flour
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Bake at 350* for 30 minutes in a 10 x 15 pan.

FROSTING

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to boil. Add 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Cool and beat. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Frost. Once the brownies have cooled spread the frosting over the top.
