We’ve had quite a few questions asking the same thing, so we wanted to put together a guide on what steps you need to take to sign up for the LIKEtoKNOW.it app.
The LIKEtoKNOW.it app was developed by rewardStyle, which is an invitation only site that hosts a relationship between retailers and bloggers to make shopping easy for the user and allows the influencer to make a small commission to pay for expenses associated with running a blogging business. The app is totally free and there is no cost passed on to you by using the app.
In order to shop looks, look for captions that have the #liketkit hashtag.
LIKEtoKnow.it allows you to take a screenshot of a picture that interests you and gives you information about that product, such as where to shop the item and what the prices are. Sometimes you won’t see the exact item listed only because the item has either been sold out or the retailer isn’t part of the rewardStyle program. In that case, we like to give items that are similar.
Four Simple Steps To LIKEtoKNOW.it:
- Download the app from either your mobile phone or desktop
- Screenshot your favorite pictures
- Shop your favorite products
- Follow us for all our looks
Specific Steps To Sign Up & Use LIKEtoKNOW.it:
- Open your apps on your mobile device
- Type LIKEtoKNOW.it in the search bar and click on it when you see the name. Make sure it’s the right page by seeing their logo (heart icon)
- Download app
- Go through the sign up process (under the SIGN UP box). Input your email and password and then click submit
After you sign up, look for the magnifying glass at the bottom and click on it (the last icon) – See below. Next, click in the search area at the top and then click on influencer search.
Type just live joy into the search area and look for justlivejoy (NOT justlivejoyblog) and click follow. This will bring you to all our looks.
Now you can start shopping. Click on a photo you are interested in. Next, click on a product you like under shop the pic.
This will bring up the product name and price, as well as an area to share the picture, wish list (this saves the product in your files so you can shop it later), and collections (here you can create your own collections such as shoes, dresses, beauty products or whatever you want!)
Here is an example of what Wish List and Collections look like.
Click the heart icon at the bottom of your screen and you will see products and collections at the top. Products are items that you clicked the heart on, your favorites.
Collections are your favorite items, but put into categories you choose for yourself. Follow several influencers and start creating your own shopping catalogs.
Finally, click on your home page (see house icon below). This is where all your influencer looks will show up.
Every time you see a look you want to “shop,” click on that picture and then screenshot the picture and it will be saved in your favorites, which is the second icon at the bottom. This is the LIKEtoKNOW.it logo. When you click on this, it will show you everything you have taken a screenshot of.

- First icon: House: Shows all the looks of influencers you follow
- Second icon: LIKEtoKNOW.it Heart Logo: These are pictures you took a screenshot of
- Third icon: Heart: When you click the heart on products you like, you will find the item under this heart icon (favorites). Your wish list!
- Fourth icon: Magnifying Glass: Discover and search for products you want to shop or find an influencer to follow
If you would rather use your desk top to sign up, you can go to their website @ www.liketoknowit.com and click The App, Login, and Sign Up.
Other Options:
You don’t need to sign up for the app if you don’t want to. Another option is you can shop directly from our website, www.justlivejoy.com (click here to go there directly) or by clicking on the LIKEtoKNOW.it box in the middle of the page on our blog. This will show you all our looks, along with the ability to click on each item.
Will I Get More Emails?
When you are signing up, you have the ability to control how many emails you want to get:
- ASAP
- Daily
- Weekly
- Don’t Send
Why LIKEtoKNOW.it Is Important To Us:
When you want to shop one of our looks, it is important to click and follow the link we provide to shop. This helps us keep our blog up and running. We have a ton of expenses and this is one of the only ways we can recoup those costs.
We never see who purchases what or how much is spent during the transaction. Basically, we don’t get any information about the person that purchases a product other than what our commission is. So if I don’t thank you for your purchase, it’s because I don’t know who bought it. Reward Style is very private. They don’t share your information with us and they don’t share your information with anyone else.
