Chicken Poppy Seed Pasta [Gluten and Dairy Free]

My chicken poppy seed pasta recipe originated from my mother-in-law a few years ago. It was always a hit! I have tweaked the recipe a bit to make it gluten and dairy free. It’s such an easy salad to whip together for a backyard bbq or if friends or family stop by. Serve it with burgers, sandwiches, or really anything you want. Sometimes we eat it as our meal with a side of bread (gluten free) and fruit or veggies. It’s easy to keep the ingredients on hand as well.

Here’s what you’ll need for the chicken poppy seed pasta:

Poppy Seed Pasta List

1 box of pasta (we use gluten free)

1 bottle of poppy seed salad dressing (Briannas Home Style is best)

Roasted chicken cut up

Green onions are good

Seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, or whatever you like)

Get to Cooking

Boil the pasta and cool.  Pour entire bottle of salad dressing over pasta.  Mix in roasted chicken. Top off with pepper and even green onion if you wish.  You can also use canned chicken or chicken breasts. Serve them in small bowls like these.

*Note: Not all poppy seed dressing tastes the same. Briannas is our favorite.
