A Neutral Save or Splurge

It’s save or splurge time! We’ve recently discovered that our readers are fans of the Save or Splurge. Overall I’m a save girl but I like to throw in a splurge whether it be in my decor or outfits. Case in point these chairs in a neutral save or  splurge I have been swooning over. My kids are a little less accident prone these days so I’ve been adding a lot of ivory to my decor lately. After running a Real Estate Home Staging business for a few years, I have lost my lust for rooms bursting with thematic colors. I just want to have a very subtle neutral color palette in my life. So here we have it, two rooms with two prices yet the same vibe. You choose, save or splurge?

Lately, I find myself searching Studio McGee for furniture inspiration. One of the things I like most about her style is the overall traditional look with a modern flair.

These items can be purchased at Target

  • This art piece by Studio McGee works well with a neutral palette.
  • Affordable Target Floor lamp
  • Simple neutral vases can add so much to a room. Vase 1 vase 2
  • The chairs are a bit more narrow than the splurge but will still accomplish a similar look for a fraction of the price.
  • Given the choice of save or splurge, I actually prefer the save to the splurge in this set.

Hurry and get in on the Serena and Lily sale! Use the code: WAVES for additional savings.

This is a great summer blues (in a good way) look for your summer porch or outdoor patio! Granted the items are a splurge but they are built to last.
