Summer is great and all but what I really love is heading into the fall months. That means a little fall refresh is in order. Last week we shared our Fall Favorites from Target. Didn’t see something you have to have on that post? Check out more here. It’s weird on the island to add fall decor but I just turn up the AC and pretend I’m somewhere else for the moment. I can’t say I’ve ever fully embraced year round hot weather.
When changing up the decor I have simplified things over the years. I’ve tried to take on a less is more attitude. A few great ways to change up the seasons is by adding some pillows and a throw blanket. Maybe you have a vase that you can swap out the greenery with something a little more fall festive.
- A wreath is a great way to make your home a little more inviting. I have these wreaths for Christmas but I had never thought about using them for Fall!
- I have this artwork and I absolutely love how subtle it is. It obviously works for all seasons but if you’re looking for a change.
- A rug is a great way to refresh a room and I love that is one is very neutral and can be taken throughout the whole year.
- Of course a pillow and a blanket is really all you need to change up the atmosphere.
