Spring fever has definitely hit me this year! I’ve been deep cleaning for the last three weeks. Today I wanted to start off with a little Serena and Lily bedroom inspiration. My overall goal being a less is more theme for 2021 and it feels amazing. It has truly changed my whole mindset and it’s helped me organize the overall chaos in my life right now. Call me crazy but each room I painted plain bright white. It feels fresh, clean and minimal. I may have a different feeling after a few months when my dogs and kids have decorated the walls with grubby hand prints and slobber. #reallife! But for now I’m enjoying the clean slate.
There’s something about Serena and Lily that is, well, serene. I love the calm muted neutral colors in this set for a relaxing bedroom oasis and this certainly fits with the less is more theme. I love Serena and Lily but I’m not crazy about the price point. My style has always been a mix of high end with affordable items. This goes for clothes and home decor. While I tend to stick with the affordable option more often than not with decor. Because I like change when it comes to the home. But that doesn’t mean I won’t splurge on a fancy pillow or two. 😉
