We here at just live joy, love it when we come across a great product that lacks all of the nasty chemicals that we don’t want or need in or on our bodies. However, sometimes those products can’t provide the same results as the bad stuff. That’s why we’re constantly searching for those perfect “all-natural” products that work.
Non-Toxic ingredient:
Pure Hyaluronic Acid and advanced Hexapeptides, Nutrient-rich Seaweed Extract, lactic Acids, Multi-Fruit Enzymes.
Purified Water, Vaccinium Myrtillus Extract, Saccharum Officinarum Extract, Acer Saccharinum Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum.
Key Ingredients:
- Lactic Acid which improves the appearance of skin by exfoliation and improves oily skin breakouts
- Sugar Cane to remove dead skin. Glycolic Acid is naturally found in sugar cane. Helps restore and balance skins appearance
- Citrus Lemon Extract is high in Vitamin C which helps detoxify skin
- Orange Fruit Extract is high in both Vitamin C and E as well.
How to use it:
Wash your skin as you normally do. I found that a little goes a long way so add a small amount of Fresh a Peel over your entire face. It recommends leaving it on 1-3 minutes depending on your tolerance. I obviously have a high tolerance because I left it on the full 3, maybe 5. But follow the instructions. Don’t do what I do. Wash it off with cool water. It can be used 2-3 times per week. Be sure to gauge to your personal sensitivity.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you use moisturizer and sunscreen after treatment as your skin WILL be more sensitive. It’s best to limit your sun exposure after treatments. Again follow the instructions.
Final Thoughts:
Some of the main reasons why I was drawn to review this product are because it’s a natural skincare line, paraben free, gluten free and vegan. Let us not forget non-invasive. Since entering my 40’s, I’ve considered other invasive methods, if I’m being completely honest. Products like this give me hope that there is no reason to go down that road. The price point is a little steep at $85 retail. However, a little goes a long way. What I noticed most about the results was a difference in my skin tone and texture and that it was slightly brighter and firmer. Sadly, the wrinkles did not disappear. The word “acid” in any product can be scary, but I didn’t find this product to be harsh at all but maybe I have tougher skin.Tried and True:
