Fitness Apparel from Nike and GapFit

Are you looking for some fitness apparel for fall? This is part 2 of our run into fall with new athletic wear.

Why does my hair look a little grey in this picture? Seriously. Back to brunette it is. It’s funny the things you don’t see when you see yourself every day. Does that make sense?! Sorry, back to the fitness apparel…this outfit gives us the “C” vibe. Comfortable. Classic. Casual.

GapFit Shirt

GapFit Shirt: This is a straight, slim fitted, long sleeve t-shirt. It comes in a variety of colors and tons of different sizes, which is a rare find. It’s long enough to wear with leggings, which is typically what I’m wearing this shirt with (or shorts). I love to throw it on with a pair of shorts for a cool morning and it’s easy to tie around the waist when it warms up. Perfect for travel. To me, it’s a timeless fitness apparel piece.

Nike Leggings

Nike Cropped Leggings: These leggings are not only great for a workout, but for all day wear. I wore them today with a Lululemon long sleeve top for my errand run and was I glad! It rained basically all day, so they dried off fast vs. wearing a pair of jeans. I would have been miserable all day! I’ve had these leggings for years, so they definitely last wash after wash.

They are a legging, which gives you that tight fit, but not the kind where you have to roll them up your body. Do you know what I mean? Like when you have a tight pair of jeans and you have to lay on your bed and wiggle all around to get them on? Yup…not like that. They also hold your backside in, which is nice when you are wearing a shirt that doesn’t cover your bum. Baby got back >>>>me<<<<.

Tommy Hilfiger Sneakers

Tommy Hilfiger Sneakers: When I first saw these sneakers a couple years ago, little did I know this style would become as popular as it is. Between this pair and my Cole Haan’s, I have a hard time wanting to wear anything else…except my Felicia’s, which will be an all time favorite. You can wear these sneakers all day without your feet getting tired. Tommy Hilfiger has an American style with a preppy twist. I’ve always been into the nautical, preppy look.

Side Note: Be prepared. Remember the rugby shirt? I used to steal my dads in high school. They are back!

I will bring this look into late fall with a vest. After winter hits, I’ll lose the cropped legging for full length, but 3/4 (seasons) aren’t bad. I tried to say “ain’t” to be clever, but I just can’t do it. I hate that word with a passion. It’s almost like a dirty word to me! I guess my English teacher did teach me a thing or two. Thanks, Mrs. Nygaard!
