5 Casual Fashion Pieces From American Eagle + Aerie

Right now, we are loving these 5 casual fashion pieces, our go-to’s, or whatever you want to call them in our closet from American Eagle and Aerie. They may have a reputation for appealing to the “younger crowd,” but I find myself shopping there more than ever. Their clothes are comfortable and they actually fit!

The Casual Henley Tank

This henley tank top is timeless. They used to call it the ‘Game Changer’ tank, but recently they changed the name to ‘No BS Henley Tank.’ Either way, the name fits! You are going to want this in every color.

Denim, Distressed Shorts

I was not a huge fan of wearing shorts until I met my first pair of distressed denim shorts from American Eagle. I’ve received numerous compliments on them and that gave me a little more confidence to wear them more often…veins and all. We might be a little older, but we still love these. Age is just a number to us and we’ve never been great at following the rules.

Oversized Sweatshirt

This is a fleece sweatshirt that offers an oversized style. I’m not much for oversized, but for whatever reason, I even sized up in this (you definitely don’t have to). I wear an XS and this is a small. I like wearing it especially with distressed denim, but I also wear it with my fav leggings shown below. It’s really comfortable and it’s sold out a few different times.

Most Awesome Leggings Ever

I’ve talked most of my friends into buying and trying a pair of these. A few of us have even taken stock of 2-3 extra pairs in case they ever stop making them. Right now, I have six pair, I believe. Yes, I love them that much. Why are they so great? Here are my top three reasons: 1) They have pockets 2) They are flattering 3) You don’t have to wear a long shirt/sweatshirt with them.

Cropped Fashion Sweatpants

I used to love cropped sweatpants about 5-6 years ago and then they stopped making them for awhile. Guess what? They are back! These are perfect for cooler days or wearing into the evening at a campfire. A tank top or sweatshirt can both be worn. Super versatile!
