First off…STOP THE PANIC! This is no time to be freaking out and losing your sh&$ – there’s not enough toilet paper for that. Instead find ways you can prepare for Coronavirus.
The more people panic, the more likely the world is going to go to heck in a handbasket. Be smart and use common sense. The biggest thing we should be worried about is spreading this to the older populations and those that have a compromised immune system, like my mother. I do not plan on seeing her for a few weeks because she has lung issues. If you are young and healthy, your body should be able to attack this virus on its own.
Here are a few things you should do to prepare for Coronavirus.
1. Food + Water
Get enough non-perishable food to last you 2-3 weeks. Pick up things like oats, rice, soup, non-dairy milk (store in cupboard until you open), cereal, pasta, etc. You get this jest of it.
2. Boost Your Immune System
There are several ways you can boost your immune system such as eating fruits/veggies, taking probiotics, consume turmeric/ginger/garlic, reduce stress by not panicking, take vitamins, get your sleep, exercise, avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine, and boost zinc levels.
3. Toilet Paper
While it’s important to have toilet paper on hand, it’s not going to be the end of the world if you don’t have it. Back in the day, they did survive without it. You can use a washcloth, rinse off in the shower, sponge, and some even have used banana peels or corn cobs. It’s funny, but not funny. There are things you can do in lieu of using toilet paper.
4. Medicine
The biggest thing here is to buy enough prescription medication to get you through this period. Get more insulin and asthma medication. You can pick up some other non-prescriptions like aspirin and even water purification tablets aren’t such a bad idea. I would also pick up a neti pot to keep your sinus’s clear. Don’t forget to use boiled water.
5. Watch Your Sources
I’ve already read and seen things where media is making things more intense by leaving out “the rest of the story.” The more dramatic it is, the more the reader keeps coming back. Keep it in perspective until you find out the whole story, however, do keep yourself informed. It’s a bit of a balancing act.
Other Tips
Other ways to prepare for Coronavirus include washing your hands, sneeze into your sleeve and not your hands, and if you are feeling sick, it’s time to self-quarantine yourself and family members. Even if you’re not feeling sick, think twice about visiting nursing homes where an outbreak could be deadly to many.
Activities During Quarantine
Watch a movie, read a book, play board games, work remotely, put together a puzzle, work on photo albums you never have time to get to, clean out your email, organize your storage room, fix things that need fixing, call a friend on the telephone, shop online, take a walk outside or go for a drive in the country (if applicable), go through your closet, learn a new skill like latch hook or maybe a different language, and work on your garage. I could go on and on. There are many things to do at home.

Great post. Be prepared and try not to panic.
Boosting the immune system is very important, and it’s great that you mentioned it! My area just went on shutdown (spoke about it on my latest post!) but this weekend has been a good vacation haha. I needed a two-day weekend, which I usually don’t get.
So important to boost the immune system! This whole thing is so surreal. I hope you are safe and doing well in this lock down.
