Go Wild with an Animal Print Skirt

Animal print is everywhere this fall and this animal print skirt will make you feel…well, WILD! I love it! I have been wearing animal print for years even when it goes “out of style.” Of course, I’m an animal lover so everything I wear, has got to be faux. Skirt

This is the star of the show. It’s silky and high waisted with a zipper down the side. I like the high waist because you can wear a cropped shirt with it or tuck in a sweater like I did. The fit falls below the knee (I’m 5.7 1/2 for reference). Feel free to mix and match prints as well. Express shows the skirt with an animal print sherpa sweater, which would be fun, but maybe a little “too wild” for me. Everything at Express is currently on sale, so now’s the time to shop. This print has already sold out once and it was restocked, so I’m thinking it will go fast.

Shirt

If there’s one thing I like to wear when the cooler season rolls around is a good turtle neck. I know I’m in the minority here, but the tighter the neck, the more I like it?! Odd, I know. You can get a great looking black turtle neck at almost any store. Target even has some cute styles. You can wear them with jeans or dress them up. It’s a staple piece and never seems to go out of style.

Booties

I am so glad booties are here and they seem to be here to stay. Louise et cie seems to be a go to boot brand for me. They are comfortable, fashionable, and a decent price. A few months ago I saw a cute pair I adored on another blogger’s site. They were sold out online. I finally found them at my favorite shopping destination, Las Vegas. When you love something, go get it!

Purse Strap

Purse straps can really change the look of any purse. I am always slinging my purse over my shoulder and I love a chunky look. This is an easy way to bring attention and style to your bag. Why settle on one style?!

Tights

I try go as long as I can before I have to break out the tights. I don’t mind wearing them, but sometimes I feel almost too covered. Let’s face it. I belong in Florida or Hawaii. I’m always cold and I want to live outside. In a tent. On the beach. Ok, not quite to that extent, but I do love and miss warm weather when fall sets in.
