Mixed Feelings Toning Drops from IGK is leaving me with well, mixed feelings! If you know me, overall, I love the IGK line of haircare. I think the founders are people I’d love to hang out with and they are designing great products. This one might be a miss. Toning drops are a great way to tone down the brassiness in your hair like red and orange tones. They also help with reviving your color.
You are supposed to mix the toning drops with a leave in conditioner or a styling product. I don’t think they seem very pigmented and it seems quite messy. For me, I think it’s a lot easier to use a pigmented conditioner in the shower and rinse it out.
Directions
Mix up to 9 toning drops into your shampoo, conditioner, or styling product. If you want more toning, make sure you add it to a leave in type product whether that’s a conditioner or styling product. For super light toning, start with 1 drop. For me, 1 drop did absolutely nothing and five drops didn’t work. I have to use at least 9. There wasn’t anything on the bottle or product insert on how many drops to use, so I went online to figure out how many drops to use.
This product is good for basically any hair type including color treated hair. I do like the gentle ingredients, which includes Blueberry Extract which nurtures with vitamins A, B5, C, and E and artichoke extract prevents the look of color fading.

It seems the blonde drops are more popular than the brunette drops. I’m going to try a few different ways to use the toning drops and hopefully I can see what the 5 star readers are seeing. Right now, I’m going to stick with my mixed feelings review. If I’m going to pay that kind of money for a hair product, I’d better love it.
