Who doesn’t love a great basic tank top? They go with everything and you can dress them up or down. You can layer it or wear it alone. I’ve been known to wear a tank top with a great necklace, a flowy skirt, and a chunky necklace to a formal event. I’ve also been known to wear one mudding. Either way, they work. You always need these basics and not just one. I have a mirage of black and white tanks. So many so, I’m wondering why I am buying more. It’s like an addiction!
When shopping for a staple piece like this, it’s not that easy. Even though I’m up to my eyeballs in great basic tank tops, they weren’t that easy to find. Too tight, too loose, too short, and so on. I have a few favorites of course, and this Treasure and Bond black basic tank top is one. You will even catch it on my Top Fab Five. It fits perfectly. It’s a light tank too. Some material can get so heavy! I like the thicker detailing at the neckline and around the arms as well. It gives it a sturdier look.
The Joggers
I have been living in these Aerie joggers all summer. Right, lake friends? I’m sure they are wondering if I own anything else. Ha. The joggers have two colors, gray and black. I wish they would start making a few more options. They almost have a shiny type material to them and are soooo comfortable. I love the pockets. Who doesn’t love pockets? The backside isn’t as tight as a legging so you can wear a shorter top with them as well. I get a little uncomfortable with leggings or a tight jogger because you can see every nook and cranny! The Accessories
The accessories are a mix of bold and simple. Like a basic tank top, you need two pairs of great hoops. Gold and silver. Weekend trip? Just throw in your two tank tops, two choices of hoops, and your half way done packing. I like the earrings from Express because they usually have buy one, get one half off.
This bar necklace is also delicate and simple. I also have one in gold and silver. Are you catching on here…buy two and your life is now fashionably easier.
My watch is from Michael Kors and if I’m not wearing my Garmin Forerunner, you’ll see me in either a gold one or this two tone. The two tone almost has a midnight blue hue to the face of the watch and it literally goes with everything.
Kate Spade makes my favorite aviators. They don’t fall off my face and they have a couple colors to choose from. I always buy polarized to try and save on my eyes.
Finally, my Pura Vida. I will never get enough of these bracelets. They bring me joy. Each bracelet has a cause to support and a story to tell. My newest favorite is the yellow one to help support suicide awareness. Fashion and donation. A great combo.
