If there’s one thing I need for fall, it’s a budget friendly Target sweater. In fact, I need several! This striped version was very popular this summer and is sold out. However, there are six other colors to choose from (two other colors are also sold out). Believe me when I say, you might want two!
This Target sweater is figure flattering with a band across the back to add some definition, which I really like because a lot of long cardigans are floppy with no style. In addition, the side slits give some extra style. I wore the cardigan with jeans and flip flops for a casual look, but you can also couple it with a cami and dress pants for work or a dressier event or wear it over a dress with a cute pair of heels.
For me, fall is the perfect time to start layering. Is it hot or cold today?! I live in the Midwest, making your guess as good as mine on what the weather is going to do, so we always need to dress in layers. Even in the summer! It’s very rare, I dare leave the house without some type of sweater or jacket. Also, this Target sweater is lightweight, which makes it perfect for the season.
You can find sweaters for double the price. Why pay more? Equally important, the style looks just as nice as the more expensive ones. Save that extra money and get into the season with a pumpkin latte…or it is Friday, which means winding down the week with a nice glass of wine. Your choice!
